Bodyprox Protective Padded Shorts for Snowboard,Skate and Ski,3D Protection for Hip,Butt and Tailbone (Medium) Black

I'm a very basic snowboarder so I was looking for something to provide extra cushion under my bib for that occasional fall on my tailbone. The padding isn't the softest thing in the world, I was expecting more of a gel-like cushion but these feel more like football pads. They almost work better as insulation, the area very warm which is nice, especially on any icy or wet chair lift. They're also kinda bulky on the front of the thigh and hip so it does feel like it limits mobility a little. I think if you're a very advanced skier or snowboarder and doing lots of turns or jumps these would be uncomfortable. But for those that like to take an easy descent down the mountain they work well. I'll continue using them.

When hip sliding while paintballing, these shorts feel like a cloud. I found that paintball-specific padding is either too thin or flattens over time. The padding here looks bulky but it's perfect and doesn't impact movement.
