I keep a singluar Ender 3 V2 completely unmodified among my small army of four printers. Two of the others are built from scratch and the third is my first printer ever, an Ender 3 Pro, that has double the amount of extrusion, all new steppers and electronics, dual extruders, and a lot more. Most of the hobby is testing new printing tech, and there have been situations where many printers have been torn apart leaving me without a way to print replacement parts.I was hesitant to do anything at all to the E3 V2, but manual bed leveling is something to which I cannot help turn up my nose. The whole install took around a half hour. I updated the FW on the LCD and the printer mainboard, mounted the CR Touch which was four screws and an included metal mount, and ran the cable along the existing bundle down to the board. The only thing one must do is set the Z offset and that's literally it.This unit is more expensive than similar tech, but everything I needed came in the box and the firmware was simple to locate and install. The E3V2 will continue to be my dead reliable backup plan as I feed into my compulsive need to continually modify and try new tech on my other three. I would easily recommend this to anyone who wants a painless install and a really quality unit.
