This remote worked perfectly for my home system. It was exactly what I needed. Now I can control my TV, Blu-ray player, and Amplifier with one remote. So when I'm watching a Blu-ray movie I don't need to swap remotes to get it setup or pause or adjust receiver volume.Remote works well, although I did have to go through a lot of codes before I found the right ones for Samsung Blu-ray player and Yamaha receiver. But, once set up it works perfectly. It did work immediately as advertised for my Samsung TV.The only thing I can't control is my Roku because it is a Roku streaming stick which uses an RF signal not infrared, but I don't care though because I didn't get it for that. I mainly got this for an easy operating experience when using my Blu-ray player because my old universal remote didn't have codes for Blu-ray players.Also a great price for a nice looking remote. It looks like something you'd get with a Samsung TV with a brushed metal look to it.
