I bought it for the son of a family member. I thought Nuby is a good brand. Reviews were mostly good. When I checked with my family, she was using Hegen! Not the Nuby I gave her.. i was so disappointed as i love her son. So I asked her to write about the Nuby bottle i bought for her son. Here goes:My son found it difficult to sip the straw on the bottle. I was wondering why there was no water going up the tube, I just thought he wasn’t ready to use a straw yet, then I tried to take a sip, but it was really difficult for me too ! I tried to dismantle the rubber that was on the straw, maybe that was a safety “lock” of some sort ? so I took that out, afterwards, sipping was fine. However, the straw kept popping off from inside the bottle after a couple of sips. So we gave up on it all together.
