Great for temporary lighting. They have upgraded this to AA batteries from earlier models that had AAA batteries which now last longer. Remote control feature very handy for out of reach placement.

these are good, but do eat up batteries. the light is too bight for my purpose of using them as spots in a book case.

Out of the 4 lights, at least 1 didn't work which is kind of frustrating. I have it shining on my nativity (1st pic is from above but then I had to change it to off to the side). I was using the adhesive - it didn't hold for more than a couple of days on the bottom of my shelf, but it was a really rough finish, so understandable. Seems I had to replace batteries pretty quickly, but I am happy with how they look. Took off 1-2 stars for 1 of 4 not working.
