I use these in bagpipe cases to monitor the temperature and humidity in my two cases.

Las APP's de Clima que reviso en mi celular muchas veces tienen valores de temperatura que claramente no coinciden con lo real. Coloqué los 3 sensores en sitios estratégicos de mi hogar con lo que obtengo información valiosa para mí. La instalación y configuración es muy sencilla y la APP es muy intuitiva y útil.

I needed something to log the temperature overnight in my workshop and pump room, where I have equipment that shouldn’t be allowed to freeze. These things are perfect. I’ve had them running a few days now and the logging is building up nicely. You can see the lumps in the graph where the heater turns on a couple of times in the night. The Bluetooth connection lets me read them from the house which is about 10 meters away; but it has to go through a few walls and metal roofs. Good enough for my needs. And whoever made the app took the time to make it actually useful, and easy to use. Nice!

Compact size and price is just what I was looking for. I bought three sensors to put in beehives that I want to monitor through the winter. I remove the leather loop to make them fit a 1-5/8" hole I drill in a 1/2" layer of insulation board which I put on top of the beehive frames. A 2" insulation board goes on top of that and then the hive cover. The app works well for me. It allows me to name which hive the sensor is in, set alarms and take a picture of the hive to help identify it. I liked the first three enough that I bought three more and then 12 more after that. Be aware the battery was changed for a CR2477, presumably because it's larger and will last longer. I'm a little unsure how much internal storage there is. Some of the literature states your phone must connect daily but a couple reviews I read elsewhere state the device has 100 days of storage. Maybe that's the app? I'll figure that out and update the review when I do. Right now it's been fun to connect daily and see how the hives are doing.Update: All the sensors I bought still have plenty of battery life and seem to be functioning normally. I was able to pull a months worth of data from one particular hive that I hadn't visited for that long. Several others go a week or two between times that I connect to them. I don't know what the storage limit is, but 30 days is enough for me. If I were smarter, I'd figure out how to connect a hub to the sensors that I could connect to via wifi so I could check anytime I wasn't in Bluetooth range, but it hasn't been a big deal. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the sensors.

I think these things add a lot of bang for your buck. I bought one of those portable fridge freezer coolers that has two chambers and I put one of these sensors in each side so I can monitor the temperature on my cell phone. I can set limits so I know if the thing stops working or loses power and it starts warming up so I know whether or not I need to take care of things before my food spoils. I've used them twice so far and as long as you don't let them actually get wet they work really well. I haven't got them wet myself but they do warn against allowing it. If you would intend to use them occasionally like I do, save the little plastic tabs that insulate the battery for storage. You can put them back in to save the batteries for the next time you use them. I just kept the box that they came in and put the little plastic tabs in the box while I'm using it.
