I rarely review products, but this one was so bad I felt compelled to warn others not to buy it. Sliding out the extender part was easy. However, I could not slide it back in without reaching inside the sleeve and moving the elastic out of the way, which was a challenge holding both parts in my hands. This would have been impossible with it mounted on the visor. This product was very poorly designed.

I'll start off by saying that this visor extender does indeed block sunlight in all of the right places. However, it has a few significant design flaws that make it annoying to use.The 1st flaw is the internal plastic slider has a permanent curve as a result of their manufacturing. The curved slider gets caught on the elastic straps that are exposed inside the sleeve. This prevents you from pushing the slider back into the sleeve after you've extended it left or right. I could not find a method to flatten the slider, but I was able to mostly solve the "catching" issue by rounding / smoothing the slider's left and right edges. This allowed the slider to slide over the internally exposed elastic straps.The 2nd flaw is no matter what orientation you choose to install this visor extender in, one edge of the extender will hang away about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch from the car's visor when you have the car's visor stowed away in it's "not in use" position. While driving, the visor extender likes to flop or bounce, which causes a distraction to the driver. I have not yet found a solution to this that would not involve an adhesive to more securely attach the extender to the car's visor.I have not seen a better designed visor extender yet, so for now I am using this to get by. I'll definitely buy something else if it appears to have a better design.
