LIGHT, COMPACT, & EASY TO SET UP - This lightweight truck camping tent packs down into a 9x8x24 inch waterproof bag. With the instructions sewn into the truck camper bed carry-bag along with the color-coded poles, it’ll always be easy to set up & take down this tent.
Step 1 Remove the tent from its carry bag. Untie fabric ties around the tent and unroll the tent on flat dry ground. Assemble all four fiberglass poles by interlocking the sections. Step 2 Insert the two long BLACK TYPE A poles into the sleeves as shown in the illustration. Once both TYPE A poles are in place, insert the long WHITE TYPE B pole into the middle sleeve as illustrated. Step 3 To erect the dome, carefully apply pressure on the poles to insert both ends of all 3 poles into the pockets near the edge of the tent. Once the tent is fully erect, unzip the door and insert the short BLACK TYPE C pole into the inner top sleeve located between top of the door and top of the tent dome. Step 4 Once all 4 poles are in place, securely attach the tent to the poles by attaching the clips located along the fabric to the poles. Step 5 You are now ready to transfer the tent to the truck! This process may be easier if there is someone to assist you, but, since the tent is lightweight, it can be done alone. Lower your truck’s tailgate. Lift the tent up and place it onto your truck bed with the door facing away from the cab. Once the tent is sitting in the truck, pull the protective tent skirt (the bottom of the tent sides) up over both sides of the truck. Connect the tie down straps to the tent skirt by inserting the free end of the tie down straps into the plastic strap adjusters attached to the straps on the sides of the tent. Step 6 Carefully pull the fly up over the tent with both doors lining up at the front of the tent. Step 7 Once the tie down straps have been connected to the tent, loosen them as much as possible and hook the plastic hooks to the bottom side of the truck bed. (The hooks are made of plastic to prevent damage to your truck’s paint.) 2 tie down straps should be hooked together underneath the tailgate as shown in the illustration. Once all of the hooks are attached, carefully tighten the straps, but DO NOT overtighten them as this could damage the tent material or fiberglass poles.
